Add the water, olive oil and maple syrup to the bread machine. Then pour the whole wheat flour and all-purpose flour over the liquid so none is showing.
Evenly disperse the yeast and salt over the flour.
Select the whole wheat bread cycle on your bread maker. This will typically take 3 1/2 hours.
Once done, remove from the pan and allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
Store in a sealed container on your counter for up to 4 days. Homemade bread will stale faster than store bought because there are no preservatives.
