Easy Bread Machine Recipe

Ingredients

  • cup lukewarm water
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • tsp salt
  • tsp instant yeast

Instructions

  • Add the water, olive oil and maple syrup to the bread machine. Then pour the whole wheat flour and all-purpose flour over the liquid so none is showing. 
  • Evenly disperse the yeast and salt over the flour. 
  • Select the whole wheat bread cycle on your bread maker. This will typically take 3 1/2 hours. 
  • Once done, remove from the pan and allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing. 
  • Store in a sealed container on your counter for up to 4 days. Homemade bread will stale faster than store bought because there are no preservatives.
