Pineapple Skin Tea

A delicious tea made from pineapple skins that can be served hot or cold.

Ingredients

  • 1 pineapple peel and core only
  • 1 knob ginger
  • ¼ tsp turmeric
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 3 ½ cups water

Instructions

  • First, make sure to wash the skin thoroughly, or soak it in vinegar for about half an hour.
  • After thoroughly washing your pineapple skin, bring all listed ingredients to a boil for 30 minutes to an hour.
  • Drain, reserving the liquid for your tea. Enjoy hot or cold.
