Ingredients
4slicesSourdough bread (I used sprouted grain sourdough from my local bakery)
The chickpea juice (aquafaba) from one can of chickpeas
½cupPlant milk
1tbspMaple syrup
1tspCinnamon
½tspTurmeric
Instructions
Drain the liquid from the chickpeas into a large bowl. Keep the chickpeas in a sealed container for later.
Whisk the aquafaba vigorously for approximately 20 seconds until it is foamy. Then add the plant milk, maple syrup, cinnamon and turmeric and stir until combined.
Drench the slices of sourdough in the liquid, for approximately 30 seconds on each side. Pan fry just as you would regular French toast.
Serve with maple syrup and your favorite berries as desired!.
