I was fortunate to be the host of Yahoo’s “In The Know” series, where I veganized viral recipes on the internet.

The crispy smashed potatoes recipe, along with the green goddess dressing, was published online for UK readers by the Daily Mail newspaper.
Delish
One of the leading food publications, Delish featured several of my pasta recipes as inspiration for the lastest trend of plant-based pasta dishes.
As a self-proclaimed pasta girl, this was definitely a pleasant surprise!
PlantYou Cookbook
Since my debut cookbook was released in 2022, I have received an incredible influx of support, both in the media and from individual readers.
My goal was to create an everyman’s plant-based cookbook that would be suitable for beginners, people new to vegan cooking, as well as experienced cooks.
Amazingly, in addition to becoming an NYTimes Bestseller, the PlantYou Cookbook was featured in several major outlets.
VegNews
For over two decades, VegNews has been one of the largest vegan media brands in the world. From recipes to travel tips, they provide amazing vegan-centered content, including listing the best cookbooks.
And yes, the PlantYou Cookbook was featured as one of the 15 best vegan cookbooks of 2022, and it’s in great company!
Runner’s World
It’s amazing to see a publication for runners acknowledge plant-based athletes and feature the PlantYou Cookbook as one of the best vegan cookbooks to help runners eat more plants!
They took a methodical approach, combing through reviews from the public and plant-based nutrition experts, as well as considering the ease of recipes, time commitment, variety, accessibility of ingredients, and cost.
Forks Over Knives
In 2011, the Forks Over Knives documentary became a spark for a national change, with the accompanying book quickly making it to the New York Times Bestsellers list.
Which is why it was very special to be interviewed about my cookbook by someone who is just as passionate about plant-based living as I am.
Interviews
The pinnacle of all media appearances are, of course, direct interviews where I get to tell my story and share my passion in my own words.
EatingWell
EatingWell has been publishing award-winning jornalism about food, nutrition and sustainability for more than 30 years.
In an exclusive interview with Danielle DeAngelis, I talk about transitioning and maintaining a plant-based lifestyle, as well as sharing my recipe for banana bread breakfast cookies.

On the Main Street Vegan Podcast, bestselling vegan author Victoria Moran invited me along to have a conversation about the plant-based lifestyle, the PlantYou Planner, and of course, the PlantYou Cookbook!

The person behind The Proof, Simon Hill is a physiotherapist, nutritionist, and author on a mission to help people make informed lifestyle choices for a healthier and happier life.
