  • 15 oz strawberries
  • 1 cup vegan cream cheese at room temperature
  • ½ cup cocowhip coconut whipped cream, or any other vegan whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp icing sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • graham cracker crumbs to garnish

Instructions

  • Slice each strawberry lengthwise. Lay them in a deviled eggs tray, or alternatively slice the back hump off the strawberries so they lay flat on a serving tray.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the vegan cream cheese, vegan whipped cream, icing sugar, and vanilla extract. Using a hand mixer, mix until creamy and smooth.
  • Transfer to a piping bag or a ziplock with the end sliced off, and fill each strawberry with the filling.
  • Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over top, and enjoy. 

Notes

  • For a gluten-free option, you can omit graham crackers. You can also use something different as a topping - like freeze-dried strawberries, sprinkles, or coconut shavings.
  • The perfect way to serve these is a tray for deviled eggs. However, you can slice off a little sliver on the back of each strawberry so that they lay flat on a regular plate.
  • Don't throw away strawberry tops (or humps). Make strawberry infused vinegar or strawberry syrup instead!
  • You can serve deviled strawberries on their own, or use them as a topping for a vegan dessert, like this 3-ingredient magic fudge cake.
  • Portion the filling according to the size of the strawberries you are using. 
  • This recipe yields 10-12 servings. Yum!
