Key Ingredients

- Strawberries (duh!) are the star of the show. They bring the beauty and the main flavor.
- Vegan cream cheese complements the slight acidity of the berries – it’s a classic combination!
- Cocowhip (coconut whipped cream) cuts through with lightness and volume.
- Vanilla extract adds a touch of depth to the creamy filling.
- Graham crackers are crumbled and added as a topping. Altogether, this is basically a teeny tiny strawberry cheesecake.
Hack It!
- For a gluten-free option, you can omit graham crackers. You can also use something different as a topping – like freeze-dried strawberries, sprinkles, or coconut shavings.
- The perfect way to serve these is a tray for deviled eggs. However, you can slice off a little sliver on the back of each strawberry so that they lay flat on a regular plate.
- Don’t throw away strawberry tops (or humps). Make strawberry infused vinegar or strawberry syrup instead!
- You can serve deviled strawberries on their own, or use them as a topping for a vegan dessert, like this 3-ingredient magic fudge cake.
How to Make Deviled Strawberries

Step 1: Slice each strawberry lengthwise. Lay them in a deviled eggs tray, or alternatively slice the back hump off the strawberries so they lay flat on a serving tray.

Step 2: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the vegan cream cheese, coconut whipped cream, and vanilla extract.

Step 3: Using a hand mixer, mix until creamy and smooth. Transfer to a piping bag or a ziplock with the end sliced off.

Step 4: Fill each strawberry with the filling. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over top, and enjoy.

Frequently Asked Questions
Honestly, no. But you can if you want to! Save the scooped out strawberry flesh for a smoothie or blend it with the creamy filling, why not?
You absolutely can! This will obviously make the recipe take longer, but I promise it will pay off. The easiest way to make it at home is to blend pre-soaked cashews with a little bit of lemon juice and maple syrup (optional).
This treat is best served fresh so that the strawberries are nice and crisp. They can rest in the fridge for a few hours (covered) before serving. However, you can make the creamy filling a day in advance and refrigerate, if desired.
