Eggnog is a serious classic for wintertime… so I couldn’t wait to make a vegan version.

This Vegan Eggnog is the go-to warm or cold winter drink that will be a crowd-pleaser at every festivity this holiday season. 

Making this Vegan Eggnog was so much fun, I can’t wait to share it with my friends and family this Christmas. 

What’s in this eggnog recipe?

This eggnog recipe has the classic flavors of eggnog but veganized. I used refrigerated coconut milk and oat milk for the milk and cream portion, which gives it a thick and creamy consistency. 

And then, for a little sweetness, I added some maple syrup and vanilla extract. 

For the holiday spice flavors, cinnamon and nutmeg make the perfect combination!  

Here’s How To Make This Eggnog Recipe

This Vegan Eggnog can be made two ways- hot or cold. 

First, you will blend up all of the ingredients in a blender until smooth. 

If you want cold: throw it in the refrigerator or over some ice to sip on! 

If you want warm: heat it in a saucepan and then, serve in a mug. 

Can you add alcohol to this eggnog recipe?

Yes, you can add the classic vegan liquors that are tasty in eggnog whiskey, bourbon, & rum. In Eggnog, they are usually added in equal parts!

  • 2 tbsp Coconut Milk, refrigerated (optional)
  • cup Oat milk
  • 2 tbsp Maple syrup
  • ½ tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp Nutmeg
  • ½ tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions 

  • Blend until smooth and enjoy immediately. Can be heated in a saucepan if desired.
