Hack It!

- Use any natural sweetener if you don’t have maple syrup on hand, e.g. coconut sugar, agave, or date syrup.
- Cook your sweet potato in advance! You can actually bake several sweet potatoes and use them in other recipes, like these sweet potato cinnamon rolls or sushi inspired rice balls.
- Although it’s best to enjoy this drink hot, you can also let it cool down and serve over ice.

Could we use cocoa instead or would it change too much? Also what about canned pumpkin instead of sweet potato? I want this but don’t want to go to store .😂
Yes I would try 1/4 cup cocoa powder and add more as needed. Pumpkin will work just as well as sweet potato 🙂
